Where does the information come from?
Hours, prices and event dates are read from the official websites of venues and organisers. Every place page shows the source and the date we checked it.
Are the prices and hours up to date?
We recheck them regularly. Of the 23 options here, 22 have a published price or free entry; where we don’t know, we say “check with the venue”. It’s worth confirming before you set off, especially for bookings.
Do places pay to appear here?
No. The order can’t be bought. If there are ever paid placements, they will be labelled “Promoted” and won’t appear among the top three options.
How do we pick something that suits us both?
In “For you two”, each of you says what you like and what you avoid, and WhereTo suggests three options that are fair to both of you, with the cost for two and the conditions.
